Started out our morning fairly early in La, it had already gotten pretty warm by the time we started our hike! This is up in the abandoned zoo in Griffith Park! It overlooks all of Glendale.
Left over cages down in the zoo, Richard says he remembers visiting here when he was little with Ingrid haha, so that's pretty cool!
(Excuse some of the blurriness in my shots, I was trying to figure out how to work in my manual settings most of the morning. By the end of the night I started to figure it out and I think you'll see what a big difference it makes! :D )
We found a German shepherd named.. Chloe! (Just like Natcha's dog! ;D)
She was jumping into the old lion caves.
See.. here I'm starting to get it!!! :D
I like the darker pictures, and auto mode makes it much more bright and I don't like that! It's not as creepy when it's all lit up. I also think the darker it is, the more detail that's picked up.
Only bad news.. is my car kind of blew up we realized when we made it back to the car. =(
Noah poured water into the coolant and we realized something had gotten stuck in the coolant hose and the blockage caused too much pressure so the hose totally split in two. I went into panic mode, but he said he could fix it- so yay!
While taking the hose apart I guess the piece that is the joint for the hoses got too hot and disintegrated, so we were almost fucked.
Until we found this AWESOME mafia (they were working on cars in leather shoes and black sweaters.. totally aka they pack drugs into cars=mafia) car shop! We were SO LUCKY they were open and working on a saturday! Anyways Noah & the guy made a new joint for the jetta out of aluminum because they didn't have any to fit volkswagens.
After they repaired the hose, and saved me a fucking shit ton of money we went on a hike for coolant.
Yay coolant! Car was fixed & adventure back on!! :D
And back to Linda Vista for dusk.. it's creepier that way! ;D
I took a lot of these pictures over the fence, so since I couldn't see what I was taking a picture of they're all a little off balanced.
Notice the sky in this one, this is at normal settings...
aaaand this one is at the settings that I like! Dark & creepified! :D Yay for finally starting to get the hang of operating in manual mode!
This is one of my favorites
Anyways.. since we were defeated at the hospital, we found an alley to play with slow exposure! Tried this new awesome trick and made Ang look like a ghostie!
Light trails!
Also I have to say, Ang is an amazingly good sport! Noah and I move a little slower since we take a million pictures of everything and she's always more than happy to wait with us. Even better she is awesome and being a fun subject to take a picture of and loves modeling for whatever we're trying to test our skills in, it's pretty great and she's pretty awesome! Plus, she has a weirdly incredible talent for making light pictures, who knew?!
Sail boat
Horn, which is Noah's last name. Also, look at the helicopter I got coming into the shot! :D
Yay!
Since it's slow exposure, you can even see the cloud movement!

WILDERNESS PHOTOGRAPHER: CYOTOE
It moved pretty fast, so I caught it fast!
LA skyline
Whoop!!!! Check out those STARS! :D
Despite all of the light pollution, and all of the smog.. I still got the stars =)
Popeyes for dinner!
The end!
